I have a 1994 Ford Explorer with an acceleration issue.?

I have a 1994 Ford Explorer. For the most part it runs decent. However, when I come out of braking or when I am driving it there will be some hesitation when I accelerate. This causes me to have to push harder on the gas making the car do a slight skid. Or, if I am at a light on an incline or something when this happens the car will just roll backwards. Please HELP!!!

They used to call this Targeted A school in my day. Basically, you go to boot camp, complete it. Wave bye bye to your buddies in your company as they ship off to A school. You stay behind at Great Lakes and go to Basic Seamanship school for a couple of weeks and then you get orders to a ship where you will do Paint chipping, painting, floor buffering , scullery scrubbing(pots and pans), mess cranking , toilet scrubbing and any other job no one else wants to do. You will most likely be in Deck Division. After 12 -18 months they allow you to strike for an open A school slot which most likely will require you to reenlist in order to take advantage of.

Rephrasing my previous question: On a person with a lung filling up with blood, would an AED or CPR be used?

I probably labeled my previous question wrong--though the answer given was very informative--so I'll rephrase. If a person's lung(s) are filling up with blood, is CPR possible due to that every time you would pump the chest, blood would come from the lips? In the case I'm referring to, the paramedics knew that the person's lung were filling up with blood, because the patient was coughing, and blood was spewing from her mouth. If the woman's heart stopped, would they attempt CPR even though blood would come out her mouth, or would they just use an AED to get the heart pumping again?

While I was cooking with a wooden chopstick that is painted, I noticed the paint was peeling. I didn't care about it at first so I just washed it with my dishes. Infants sleeping on their backs and spitting up/vomiting?

I worried about this exact thing with all three of my children. My mother, of course, thinks I'm nuts for putting them down to sleep on their backs but then again her youngest child is 24! :) I've found that if the baby spits up while on their backs that it either just runs down the side of their cheek or they actually turn their head. Sometimes they do spit up and it goes back down their throat but they handle it just fine. If this happens they either just swallow it with no problems or cough until they've got things straightened out. I normally put them to sleep on their sides. Unlike someone mentioned, my kids never had a tendency to roll to their bellies. If they did ever roll it was always to their backs. Our last baby got pneumonia (of all things!) when she was about 2 1/2 months old. She would have coughing fits in the middle of the night so we just put her in bed with us so we could check her often and elevate her quickly if she needed it. Just to let you know though, we co-sleep with our children so we were comfortable with this. Congrats on the baby!! Good luck!

Did you think I'd get back with you? Cuz I'm not, you'll see in the end. I DONT LIKE YOU" and I was completely embared and walked away because of his arrogance. All these causes and actions can be prevented with education, but as mentioned above, that is not always available. My friend has a strange sitch on her hands. She and her ex spend about 24 hours a week together with their granddaughter, They raised her for a period of time, and feel that it is necessary to continue on with her in that same fashion. Hi i have some serious anger and hate issues infact its gotten so much that my chest hurts constantly. I came here to america in 2nd grade and went to school in the south I was originally from (arab country) ever since then I always felt like I was looked down upon and usually treated badly made fun off and even looked down upon by teachers it got bad in middle school but real bad in high school. Common sense would dictate that the grill needs to be far enough away that the heat will not melt the siding. That distance will vary depending on the grill. If you have one of those $4000 blast furnaces, I would recommend a minimum of 20' away. For a standard gas grill, 10' should be more than sufficient. For a charcoal grill, it would depend on the direction of the wind. If it's blowing towards the house, I'd stay 10-15' away. I use charcoal, and installed a 3' x 5' ceramic tile inlay on my deck for the grills. They are about 18' from the house, and can't foresee ever having any problems with them. Hope this helps.

Mirtazapine (Anti depressant drug)?

I have been on mirtazapine for now 4 years. In that time I have put on about 16 kgs, which has been good because I was quite skinny. I have lost about 3 - 5 kgs in the last 4 months. I think maybe because for a while I was quite stressed, I don't go to the gym to do weights much more and in the last week I have been ill with the flu. Is the weight loss due to these things or is the drug starting to not have the same impact. I want to put those kg's back on. Any advice

A friend I once lived with in the past defaulted on a car loan last year and at some point the bank initiated the repossession process. The bank could not recover the vehicle and the debtor changed their phone number, etc and presumably has been garaging the vehicle elsewhere. I have been receiving haring voicemails from a skip tracer at an et recovery firm (presumably because we once lived together) trying to get information, claiming that the bank has demanded loss payoff from their insurance company on the vehicle and that once the claim is paid the insurance company will take title on the vehicle and this will somehow dramatically change this it into a matter of theft. It all sounds fishy to me. As I understand, the creditor, insurance company, or whoever owns the collateral, needs to go to civil court and get an Order of Replevin to recover the collateral. The recovery firm is trying to make it out as if this person could be charged with theft. What's going on here?

Parking in narrow road,hled by resident?

Firstly no one has any right to park on the highway, the only right the public has is to travel along it. Parking on the highway has however become an accepted practice providing you dont contravene any restriction or cause a real obtruction ie blocking a driveway, obscuring visibility, parking on the footway etc. Parking at and near schools is one of the biggest problems I receive complaints about as it seems no one is capable of walking these days when I walked my children to school I use to walk past people just 200yds from the school getting in their cars!!!!! As regards you parking the resident cannot realistically do anything about it unless he can persaude the Council to put a restriction on the street such as a residents only parking scheme. As long as you park sensibly and in accordance with the highway code not to near to a junction etc the police will not do anything. Pleased to hear you never park on the school keep clear markings we get so many complaints from people about road safety at schools and then you visit and you see its the behaviour of the parents that cause the problems. Schools should be introducing school travel plans to try and resolve some of the problems with the local highways authority (normally the county council). Common ideas used in my area that do work are encouraging the kids to want to walk or ride to school to be healthy and the walking bus. The walking bus is parents getting together and taking it in turns to walk a large group of the children to school in one group picking children up on the way. At three miles thats not an option for you but I have known schools start the walking bus at a suitable carpark near the school so that people who do have to travel by car dont have overload the roads immediately outside the school. So anyway dont worry about the parking as long as you continue to park sensibly but talk to the school about their school travel plan and if they have not drawn one up get in touch with the governers as they are all required to do so and there is some money available for improvements to facilitate them such as building new footways cyclepaths bike shelters, providing reflective jackets for the walking bus etc. PS whilst some parents behavious does make you pull your hair out local residents invariably have no real reason to complain in that the school was almost certainly there a long time before them and the parking problem with it, they no doubt brought their house on a saturday or sunday or in the summer a case of buyer beware.

Question about MEPS and SECRET clearance?
