Why am i attracted to this boy?

i really like this boy, and i mean REALLY..but the thing is i just don't know why..he's quite good-looking, but has very little personality, doesn't talk much, drinks waaay to much, and doesn't even have much of a sense of humour or anything.. yet still, i'm infatuated by him. I'm just wondering if this says something about me as a person, or my own self-esteem or something..ok this question probably doesn't make sense, but i hope someone can shed some light on my situation.. thanks
