Why is stereotyping so wrong?

There are always exceptions, but for the MOST part, asians have small eyes and are good in school. Blondes are a little ditsy. Jews are rich or greedy. Blacks are loud and generally make up most of the criminals is prisons. Why, if this is such a true fact and statistic, do people claim you're a bigot if you believev in the facts?
