How do you think Adolf Hitler should have died if he hadn't committed suicide?

Even under the politics of the 1940s [Allied or Axis], I don't think Hitler would have been executed via ging. YES, he would have been either sentenced to life [which is worse than death, in my opinion] or he would have been executed by way of a firing squad, or something similar to. Your teacher sounds like she wants a Hammurabi's code [an eye for an eye] kind of punishment for Hitler. Ha!
