How far from Vinyl Sided House should a Propane Grill Be?
Common sense would dictate that the grill needs to be far enough away that the heat will not melt the siding. That distance will vary depending on the grill. If you have one of those $4000 blast furnaces, I would recommend a minimum of 20' away. For a standard gas grill, 10' should be more than sufficient. For a charcoal grill, it would depend on the direction of the wind. If it's blowing towards the house, I'd stay 10-15' away. I use charcoal, and installed a 3' x 5' ceramic tile inlay on my deck for the grills. They are about 18' from the house, and can't foresee ever having any problems with them. Hope this helps.
