Why does my virgo man seem shy and mellow but.....?

My virgo man is kinda shy quiet and mellow but he likes to hang out in biker bars around loud crazy party people!!!???Hes told me hes afraid that if he quits drinking no one will like him and everyone will think hes boring,he also admitted to me hes very depressed!What can I do to help him feel better about himself,help him stop drinking.I also figured out about him that his self esteem and self image is so low he hangs out with lowlifes even though he is much better then them.His parents were never around for him to talk to so his whole life every thing bad he holds it in instead of talking about it.Any advice?I really love him and want to help him!
