How to make White Garlic sauce?
First, you need a roux: Melt a couple tablespoons of margarine, or heat the same amount of oil in a medium pot, then remove from heat and mix in cornstarch or flour until you have a smooth, somewhat thick paste. Return to heat at a simmer, and add about a cup of milk. Mix it up really well to distribute the roux evenly, or else you'll wind up with lumps. :/ Add some salt, a little pepper, and your garlic. Keep simmering until it thickens, stirring almost constantly. Add more milk if it thickens too fast, and keep cooking until it's perfect. Taste every now & then while it's cooking to make sure it's perfect. :)
